Vladimir Nabokov
4 out of 5
I really enjoyed this book. I was afraid to read it because of the subject matter, but there was only a few areas that were uncomfortable. The rest was extremely enjoyable.
This story was at time shocking, other times hilarious, and still other times tearfully sad.
The last few chapters left me feeling a little blue, actually. The climax was thrilling and deserved, but I almost wish it had ended differently.

Amazing to think Nabokov was seconds from throwing the only copy of this manuscript in a burn barrel before his wife stopped him.
